JODI G. LASH

After working for years in the industry, frustrated by exorbitant fees and mediocre results from large law firms, consulting groups, and ex-insurance department employees who claimed to be able to help obtain Certificates of Authority and other regulatory approvals, Jodi Lash founded J. Lash & Company.

Leveraging her analytic ability, negotiating skills, extensive long-term personal relationships and sheer dogged tenacity, Jodi Lash, Founder and President of J. Lash & Company helps insurance companies enhance profitability, spread risk, and increase franchise value.

Ms. Lash has over 25 years direct experience in obtaining insurance company licenses, captive licenses and formation, agent and agency licenses and any other type of regulatory approval required to write insurance business in a state. She is one of a few select individuals who license companies and agencies in every state.

Prior to founding, J. Lash & Company, Ms. Lash served as Vice President, Secretary and Legal Counsel for National Interstate Insurance Company (a subsidiary of Great American Insurance Company) and Assistant Vice President, Senior Product Manager Captive Division, Division Legal Manger and Claims Attorney for Progressive Insurance Company.  She has served on the Board of Directors of several companies and currently is on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross in Dallas, Texas.

She became well-versed in all aspects of insurance company operations during her tenure in the industry and is therefore uniquely qualified to understand and analyze your company’s business as well as your plans to expand.
